In any human environment, coexistence finds especially fertile ground around a
table. The culinary traditions of different parts of the world clearly show the
wealth of diversity. At the same time, they enable similarities to be discovered
within difference and people to be brought towards a shared terrain: the ability
to prepare food using raw materials and above all, the ability to enjoy food in
company. This book contains 141 classic recipes from all over the world and is
an invitation to share a table, to build a fraternal space contributing to overcoming
frontiers, prejudices and differences, and moving towards a more habitable world
for everyone.
