These are cities which have a special relationship with Barcelona, insofar as they are united in their determination to work towards a more prosperous, more just and more peaceful world. They have been invited to hang their wishes on the installation Talismans of the World. On the basis of these contacts they have been offered the opportunity to participate in the Peace Camp.

In accordance with the activities program drawn up together by the Forum and Save the Children, the invited cities have chosen children who will come to exchange experiences related with the issues of sustainable development (protection of natural resources, responsible consumption, recycling...), cultural diversity (education, language, traditions, games, music, art, gastronomy...) and conditions for peace (survival, dialogue, reconstruction, disarmament...).

In collaboration with Save the Children and with the assistance of the Spanish Embassy, each city has selected a maximum of 13 children (between the ages of 12 and 14) and two chaperones for each stay.
