Activities in the Swimming Area

The Forum Swimming Area is open every day for the duration of the event. There, all visitors can freely go for a swim in the sea and take in a little sun while visiting the site.

It is located alongside to the Photovoltaic Terrace, between Pangea Island and the Large Auditorium where the Giant of the 7 Seas takes place (see map).

The area is properly delimited and there is a shallow area for children. Kids under 12 can swim in the entire area when accompanied by an adult or one of the supervisors made available to visitors by the Forum, and for the younger ones there are a number of water games and activities. Aqua shoes are recommended although not required. All activities in the Swimming Area are free.

This area is also accessible for our disabled guests (there is an elevator chair) and is watched over by supervisors working for the Forum as well as lifeguards from Red Cross.

Swimmers can also use the showers and changing rooms. And for storing personal belongings there are lockers that work by inserting a 1-euro coin (which is refunded upon leaving the Swimming Area).
