Asís Martín de Cabiedes
Born in Madrid, 48 years old, married with four children, engineer from ICAI and Master in Business Economy and Management from IESE, Barcelona.
Has great experience of international banking, having worked for the Continental Bank in Madrid and the Crocker National Bank of London as director of the Capital Market Division.
He had previously worked for the American multinational Dow Chemical Ibérica and, subsequently, as a London consultant to the international company The Boston Consulting Group.
Between 1986 and 1992 he was director of the CESCE (Spanish Export Credit Insurance Company), and from 1992 to 1994, when he joined Europe Press, he was director general for Spain at the Portuguese Bank of Development and Exterior.
He is currently Executive Chairman of Europe Press, with responsibility for all its business areas: news (national and international), television, reports, publication, communication and Internet.
