Laamb
A form of traditional wrestling from Senegal in which each wrestler aims to throw his opponent onto his back. In addition to being a physical activity it also has a spiritual aspect; prior to the bout the wrestlers engage in a series of rituals, accompanied by both the marabout, or spiritual leader, as well as drummers and singers who dance around the contestants and the combat area.
